My new laptop came with a partitioned hard drive, which I have never had before. Everything I have installed so far automatically goes to the "C" drive, which is where the OS is. The "D" drive is much larger and I would like to move my docs, music, and photos there, but I can't figure out how to do it. Could someone give me step by step instructions for doing this? Thx

Hi and welcome to the forums!
There is a tutorial by Ian on how to move the Documents folder to another hard drive/ partition.

Change location of My Documents Folder

Cheers,

Although I did have to click "apply" before I clicked "OK". That was where I was messing up.
