Deleting Third-party System Files

I've just uninstalled the awful Compro DTV software.

Windows will not allow me to delete the drivers and the other files in the system32 folder, even as administrator. Seems it requires something like SYSTEM (?) permissions.

How do I, as a humble administrator, get rid of them?

Well you could Take Ownership of the windows folders and then you would have access but you may still have problems if it thinks the file is In Use. You could probably use Unlocker and let it delete on reboot.

I think the problem may have been caused by my telling Unlocker to delete the file; then the uninstaller could not find it.

I'll try the ownership trick and if that doesn't help I'll re-install the application and then uninstall it.
