I have a file which may be corrupted, but I cannot delete it - the delete
dialog just hangs. Nor can I see the properties to check if there is a
permissions problem - the window just hangs again.

Any ideas or utilities I can try to get rid of it?

Cheers

Roger

Thanks for your help folks - it didn't work in Windows, but safe mode and
command prompt did it! Your suggestion got me thinking on the right lines

I was glad I remembered the old days of CD DIR DEL, etc etc!
