crysis warhead BENCH not working on win7?

Hi guys, i just installed crysis warhead bench (called "FBWH") and its all installed but it won't run. These guys have the same problem:

maxishine said he found a fix but didn't say what it was other than a no CD/DVD crack (considering the 64bit .exe of the game runs without the disk after patching it i think this may not apply to me. anyway i thought i'd ask you guys incase anyone has found the fix to this problem before.
