You can find some very excellent CPU heatsinks for less than $30. If you're in the States or Canada go to: www.newegg.com for some really good prices and reviews.

I recommend These. For $49 Aywun Al-VIO and for $89 Zalman GNPS10X two very good heat sinks with good quality fans and do their job well for AMD Coolers

Xigmatek makes some very good coolers. Check this one out.

This gets VERY GOOD reviews from it's users!

A quote from one of the users:

I am running a phenomX4 9950BE 2.6 and i had stock cooling for the longest time which sucked... my idle temps were 52 celcius with artic silver 5, as soon as i popped this bad boy in my temps went from 52c to 33c instantly this thing cools great.Cons: none

I'm running this Cooler: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835233012

At 3.6 running 4 instances of prime full load temps in a 70 degree ambient room are 42C.

Good Luck...

That's very similar to the one I use. Plus I used the Crossbow X-Style motherboard mounting bracket for a better support.

The Crossbow mount uses screws instead of those infernal Intel style push-pins.

I have a Thermaltake SpinQ on my Q6600 that used to run at a blistering 50c on medium load (Don't panic the rated thermal output rating for warning is about 70c!!) but with the fan on about medium and my new case thermaltake 900 my cpu sits at 30c max on full load.
