Hi R34

What do you have in mind, a lntel or AMD machine?
Are you looking for a laptop or desktop?

I'm not having very much luck finding anything under 800.

Perhaps this one:
HP Pro 3000 - Micro tower - 1 x P E6600 / 3.06 GHz - RAM 2 GB - HDD 1 x 160 GB - DVD±RW (±R DL) / DVD-RAM - GMA X4500HD - Gigabit Ethernet - Windows 7 Pro - Monitor : none - Microsoft Office 2007 Ready (WL936PA)

and then possibly this card if there is an available PCIe card slot. I couldn't tell from the specs. Special note though the GTS 450 recommends a 450W power supply and I couldn't tell what size power supply the case above has.

MSI GeForce GTS 450 Video Card - GDDR5 1024MB 128bit VRAM - 850/4000MHz Clock - PCIe 2.0 - DVI & Mini HDMI - SLI & PhysX Ready - DirectX 11 & OpenGL 4.0 (N450GTS-M2D1GD5/OC)

Whatever you do, if you plan on future expansion, or are a hobbyist, stay away from all in one computers. The only upgrades that are practical are RAM & hard drive, there's no room for much anything else, not even a video card. And only the high priced ones offers an eSATA connection.

All in ones are best for those who doesn't need a ton of power, and/or those who are just content on having a computer, and can live within low specs. Most, except the business models, are budget computers, built with older parts, and are low priced.

Mine is barely a year old, and I've already had to replace the mouse & keyboard, not to mention having to upgrade the RAM to 4GB for acceptable performance. Another tip, computers with AMD processors tend to cost less than those with Intel ones, but check the numbers closely, low GHz numbers (mine is 1.5 GHz) means lower performance.

I hope that you can find a suitable computer that fits your needs soon.

Check these specs out and see what you think:
Code:

CPU / Processor	SKU#19010175 - Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 Processor
Motherboard	SKU#28023273 - ASUS P5G41C-M LX - Micro ATX
DDR3 RAM	SKU#37140675 - Mushkin 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 KIT
Main Hard Drive	SKU#22040371 - Western Digital Caviar Green - 1 TB
Optical Drive	SKU#17040310 - LG 22x DVD Burner
Power Supply	SKU#34040523 - Thermaltake Litepower 500W Power Supply
OperatingSystem	SKU#39090308 - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit
I changed the power supply out just in case you do decide to add a graphics card later.
You may want to add a few extras.

Total $648.49

The case power supply was replaced when the second one was added. Chances are the case power supply is not really worth having.
