Are we all prepared for Christmas yet?

I've just spent the last few hours in the City centre getting the last few presents for family members... I forgot how much I hate shopping, especially when it's that busy!

Really looking forward to a relax and time off over the Christmas period, only 13 days to go

I haven't gotten into the Christmas spirit yet, I'm afraid.

Tree is up, gifts are bought, just some cards to deliver. Keeping it small and in-expensive but still festive.

Bah! Humbug! LOL!

...not really gang! JK! However when I was younger I remember how much Christmas meant and what fun it was. Now it is just crass commercialism, malls, Wal-Mart and other crap.

I remember when "Black Friday" wasn't black. Going from our small town in Colorado to Denver to check out the different department stores, toy sections, electronics, etc.

It's very saddening to me when I walk into a Wal-Mart in the middle of October and Christmas decorations and other crap are already out.

So this year I am going to sit back, relax and listen to the entire Handel's Messiah by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and chill out. Also Bing Crosby and other old singers and songs to do a little reminiscing.

Too bad I quit drinking... I could have a Bailey's and coffee or a Maker's Mark on the rocks.

Maybe your W7F mates can sacrifice themselves for the cause.
