Can't center monitor display

i`ve just installed w7 rc x86 and i just cant center my dislay ,its like 3 inches off too the left.i have a Tantung 27 inch monitor with 1024x768 max.res.hd ready .works perfect with vista NVIDEAdrivers ,idid the driver update also. when i change res.i see that it says 1360x768(recommended) couldt this be the problem?

A 27" monitor does not have a max resolution of 1024x768 I would suggest you use whatever resolution it recommends as that would likely fix it.

Some monitors offer a button that you can press to auto-center the the screen, if yours has one you can also try that. What's the exact model of your monitor?

Im just guessing here but it looks like you are setting up fullscreen when the system is recommending widescreen

These resolutions look more like 17" - I have a 19" my recommended is 1440x900
