I have Windows 7 Premium x64 as a host O/S on a laptop. I have installed Virtual Machine 2007 and installed my old XP O/S onto the virtual machine. Everything is running correctly.

Here's what I'm trying to accomplish: My not-so-old Panasonic camcorder will not be recognized by Win7, that's why I have installed XP on the virtual machine. I would like to use a firewire to connect the camcorder to the computer and can by an express card that has the correct firewire ports on it. I need to know if the XP Virtual Machine will be able to recognize and use the express card. I don't want to purchase the needed card and cable for nothing

Thanks in advance

Jason

No. It won't work, period. With isochronous devices you're SOL.
