I`m getting this error when trying to install Window 7 on my RAID 0 (Gskill Falcon 2x128).
"Windows cannot be installed to this disk, This computer`s hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk`s controller is enabled in the computer`s BIOS menu."
Funny thing is, I have already installed it using the same rig.

I tried the possible solutions regarding this issue according to what I read on several forums:

- Disconnected all other drivers othan than the one i`m trying to install windows on
- Unplugged all usb devices, only the keyboard is left
- There are no SD cards/pendrives/etc
- Put the RAID 0 as the primary boot (it has always been this way)
- Use the CLEAN command using the command prompt via W7 dvd (shift+f10)
- I removed the cmos battery for a couple hours.
- Tried x86 and x64 versions of Windows 7. Tried more than one DVD.
- I have the latest firmware on both ssds (2030).
- Created and deleted the RAID.

So basically, I run out of options and I can`t install windows.

Here`s my rig:

Enermax EGX1250EWT
ASUS Mamius 4 Extreme
i7 2600k @ 5.0ghz
16GB Patriot Viper Extreme
G.Skill Falcon 256GB SSD RAID 0
2x ATI 7970
Logitech G19/G500
Xonar D2X

Any help would be appreciated

Regards

The things that I would try are:
1/ Is there a *special* driver that Win 7 needs in order to see the disks in a raid config?
2/ Does Win7 install on a single SSD configuration? i.e just connect a single SSD as the primary disk.
3/ Does changing to raid 1 make a difference?
4/ Will Linux install with Raid 0 setup?

Hope this helps.
