In your bios the NB Frequency should be 2000.* mhz. Either set it to default or use the + or - keys on the right side of your keyboard to change them. Also, double-check that all your driver's are up to date. For one's like Realtek, etc. go to their website. Don't use Asrock's for sound, lan or video. Go to the specific maker's site for those. Your video card driver's should be Catalyst 12.1 . In 1-2 1/2 weeks that will change as AMD put's out new video card driver's every month. Also, what antivirus/antispyware/internet security product's are you using ? Certain one's are notorious bsod causer's. AVG top's the list there. If you use that, ditch it.

Hey, thanks again for your help brk. My FSB was already set to 2000 in my bios. I expect the rsulting discrepancy is related to the same reason my ram reads 798.2mhz instead of 800mhz(similar to the discrepancy you get with hard drives i.e 1 gig = 1024 mb's). I have downloaded and installed new Realtek lan drivers(i already had but slightly out of date) the Realtek HD audio codecs (you were right, the ones i had were asrocks). My CCC was already 12.1 as i try to keep that up to date. everything else listed on the asrock site is completely up to date except for my bios. I'm currently not using any antivirus software as i know it causes issues with blue screens. I originally had AVG with my first format but didn't reinstall as a measure of troubleshooting, so currently no antivirus software at this time. appreciate your time spent digging up them links =P
Oh, on i side note something i forgot to mention. I had restarted my computer because there was no sound(there was no X through my speaker icon in the start up tray). The resulting start-up is what produced the most recent blue screen. I didnt think much of it because i figured my dog might have just unplugged the wire from my subwoofer. After an inspection everything was still plugged in. Also im open to any AV recommendations as i never cared much for AVG.

Make sure when you install any driver's to disable your active antivirus/antispyware app's first. Install the driver, restart your pc and re-enable the antivirus/antispyware app's. That's only for the ones with real-time protection enabled. Download Microsoft Security Essentials from: http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/mse.aspx Install it, let it update & run a full scan. MSE doesn't cause bsod's. Then go to http://www.malwarebytes.org and download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free. Install and let it update itself. Then boot into Safe Mode (F8 key during startup) and do a full scan with Malwarebytes. Let it remove any infection's it finds and restart your pc. Now go to http://superantispyware.com/ and download SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition. Install it and let it update. Boot back into Safe Mode and run a full scan with SUPERAntiSpyware and let it remove what it finds and restart your pc again. The bsod's should be gone after that. If they aren't start searching for update's for your software. It could also be a bad ram stick. Try running Windows Memory Diagnostic or Memtest86+ from : http://www.memtest.org/ Each ram stick need's to be tested seperately for accurate results. If any error's occur, you have a bad ram stick. That will cause bsod's.
