I have Win 7 64, and when I insert a thumb drive in any of my front ports, I get a BSOD, system service exception, stop 03b.

4GB ram, Nvidia 650 using 15.51 drivers.

I attached my minidump file.

Hey.

I'd update the following driver by visiting your motherboard site. Download and install the Probell utility to do so.

Code:
ASACPI ASACPI.sys Sun Mar 27 22:30:36 2005
While you're there, get the latest chipset/other motherboard drivers and install those as well.

Also see what you can do about updating this driver:

I deleted pcouffin.sys already.

I went to ASUS website, and they don't list PROBELL or ATK010 for my m,otherboard when I select Win 7 64bit. It DOES show up for 64bit Vista and XP.

Should I install them anyway?

I have a P5N-SLI mobo

Yes. Install in compatibility mode for Vista. Check in C:\Windows\System32\drivers for the specific driver to see that it has been updated to 2009 version.

I found a new ASACPI.sys and installed the PROBELL, and also uninstalled and reinstalled the USB device from device manager. For 2 days, it worked.

This morning - BAM. BSOD.

Here's the new dump

Try to update your Apple Mobile USB driver:

Code:
usbaapl64.sys

I have the latest iTunes 64 bit, so I cant update that - I can't find a location to get a newer one.

I have disabled True Image, and that seems to stop BSODs (at least the time I tried after the disable) - not sure if this is it or not. I thought I had fixed it the day before, but it was a temporary fix

I have True Image Home 2010. It's not truie image. I just had two more BSOD's with all Acronis services stopped and all EXE's stopped from loading at boot up.

it's something else - this really sucks.
