I got a Radeon HD 6950 that is about a month old. After I got it I reformatted and did a clean install of windows.
The bsod have also occurred while playing other games and, iirc, while watching videos.

If you are sure that you uninstalled the video driver, rebooted, reinstalled it didn't work, then the fault must be somewhere else.

What is the system hardware?
Are you overclocking?

Not overclocking.
This is the "receipt" from when I got the computer:

The graphic card is switched out (for HD5950) and I've added 8 more gigs of ram.

Have you installed the Chipset drivers for the Motherboard?

Let us know how it goes after that.

Not sure if I had installed it previously. Feels like I've spent an eternity on that page.
Installed now and I'll update if anything happends.

Thanks a lot for your help and patience so far

So I just got another BSOD. This time I saw something I hadnt seen in previous bsods. What I could see it complained about my USB drivers. Will reinstall those and see what happends.

Attaching the dumpfile from the bsod.
If it is not associated with the usb drivers or if i should do something else please let me know.
Attached Files
File Type: rar Minidump.rar (20.1 KB, 7 views)

Yes, the USB driver.
A file on your system: usbehci.sys Tue Jul 14 10:06:30 2009
was reported as being the fault by the mini dump. See the date 2009.

I know you have spent a lot of time on the Giga-byte site, but have you updated ALL the drivers?
What about windows updates?

Were you using the USB when it Blue Screened? Was it a USB 3.0 device?
