Hi,

I'm using Windows 7 RTM for two months or so.
I have a recurring problem: While surfing the web after sometime, either with IE 8 or FF3.5, the browser stops responding and I have to close it and reopen in order to surf again, and then its stops responding more often, so I have to restart the computer in order to surf again without interruption. Also: After one of the browsers crashes for the first time, I can't use Windows media player until I restart the computer.

The event viewer says that I had an 'Application Hang' Code 1002.
I've made some memory tests but they showed no problem, I've cleared Adobe Flash history, but it didn't help - it keeps on doing this.

My computer's specs:
Intel Core2Duo E6400
Intel 965WH motherboard
2GB Ram 800Mhz
Nvidia 8500

Anyone has a suggestion?

Thanks,
Udi

Can you try loading IE8 without any of the plugins? You can start IE8 in safe mode by running "iexplore -extoff"

It could be that you have a download manager or AV plugin that is causing the problem in both browsers.
