bothered about "non-displayed" icons---virus???

hi!

please help....i'm bothering about most of my programs' and applications' icon....
they are not showed or displayed.....

bothered about "non-displayed" icons---virus???-sign-virus.jpg

.....is this a sign of VIRUS???

No this isn't a virus, or at least, it isn't directly related to one.
This is most probably related to the fact that you have that Add/Remove Programs problem.

Your best shot is to solve the Add/Remove problem.

Basicly, the computer keeps a list of softwares that are installed with all the related info like where the uninstaller is and other infos like icons.

Hello there,

You can place spybot and free AVG on a USB drive, additionally, you can run a complete scan with NAV (Norton Anti-Virus) Boot Disk: This will check everything BEFORE booting to windows.
You will need a reliable source computer to work from since your main computer seems to be comprimised.
