Boot Time

Hey , sometimes my boot time various from slow to realy fast i remember awhile ago i typed in msconfig into the windows 7 search bar - > boot - > ticked no gui boot it booted faster than normal but im just wondering what exactly does it do , i have a rough idea but i thought id put it out there

GUI = Graphical User Interface

In plain English, it means nice pretty screen. You removed the nice pretty screen(s) while booting so your computer didn't have to load and run them. That's why it's faster.

always good to make sure i swear i thought GUI couldnt be graphical user interface im like nahh cant be lOL my mistake ^_^
