I have a desktop I built myself, Asus motherboard M2N-E, AMD Athlon 3500+

I bought a mini USB bluetooth dongle on eBay, picture attached of package.

WIndows 7 32 bit does not seem to respond properly to my AT&T tilt or my S10 netbook with the same adapter, it has windows XP, when I can get it to generate an authentication code it always fails. I would also like to set up activesync via bluetooth, but my phone doesn't recognize my computer. is there a firewall block?
