Hello,
Please suggest me the ways to apply a backgroung image in a folder.I have tried it through desktop.ini but i dont exacltly know,what shall i write in that to accomplish this task.

Sid - I deleted the same thread you started in the General Discussion section due to the fact that it really does belong in the Customization section and it's not good forum practice to start multiple threads asking the same question. I hope you understand, there was no malice intended.

Try this link, it states it's for desktop background and wallpaper but it should work for any image.

How to Set Your Desired Wallpaper as Folder Background in Windows Vista and 7

There are links for both the 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7 versions.

Nibs, I get a 404 if I try your link.

You might like try out this little app from the Windows Club:
Windows 7 Folder Background Changer

I've never heard of editing the Desktop.ini manually. Usually when I see the suckers I just delete them but then I don't customize my windows.

I need that right code that can be wriiten in desktop.ini to do that...

Just install the application and use that rather than attempt to edit desktop.ini on your own.
