Asus K8N-VM

I have an Asus K8N-VM motherboard with AMD Sempron 300+. Win7 will not recognise the soundcard, and I cannot install the drivers that I use with WinXP.
Any ideas?

That motherboard uses the SoundMax ADI1986A chip, but some people have had sucess using the following driver in Vista:

ftp://ftp.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/Drive...6100_Vista.zip
