I'm a BIG Pink Floyd fan! Have been since their DARK SIDE OF THE MOON release.

Which by the way, TIME Magazine rated as one of the TOP TEN LP's released in 1973 of ALL genres of music; including Jazz, Classical, Pop, etc.

It remained on Billboard's Music Charts from 1973 to 1988, a record 741 weeks! Longer than any other album in history.

Roger Waters did 'The dark side of the moon' tour in 2006/2007. I went to one in September of 2007. Was an incredible show. I can't wait for Sunday to come

Here is one intersting telling fact:

So far this year “Dark Side” has sold 125,000 copies — that’s about 3,000 a week for an album that is almost 40 years old. To put that in perspective here are the Nielsen SoundScan number for some high-profile 2010 releases:

”Jonas L.A.,” The Jonas Brother - 100,000
“Scream,” Ozzy Osbourne - 206,000
“All Night Long,” Buckcherry - 58,000
“American Ride,” Toby Keith - 117,000

I guess the Jo Bros are a fad, while “Money” is forever.

This is a simple must for any Pink Floyd/virtuosos-type-music fans.

Dream Theater covered Dark Side...the members and band are known for their extreme talent and each consistently wins peer rewards for what they do.

It's extremely enjoyable:

Close... but no cigar unfortunately! Doing a cover of any song from DARK SIDE OF THE MOON is pretty lame if you ask me.

But as the saying goes: Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I'll stick with the original.

Pink Floyd is one of my favorites, too. Took my wife almost a month to find me a 2CD set of "The Wall", and that cost $30 at KMart, in 1998.

One of the classiest bands of all time.

Rumour has it that if you can remember seeing The Floyd, you wasn't really "there".
I'm not a Floyd "fan" but appreciate their music. Now Bowie.......
