How safe in what context? I don't think it'll format your hard drive or send
your bank and credit card info to the Russian mob, if that's what you mean.
:-)
I used it for a while just because it is a gadget, and gotta love a new
gadget! It worked just fine with no detrimental effect on my system. It got
old quick, though.

I am using this one in Win7 64 bit and it is very good indeed. I upgraded to
the pro version, but the free one is good.

Alarm 2.0.4 is free and brilliant. Also gives a good siren sound if you
want, which I use for advising of Skype calls coming in - will wake the dead
if you set it right.
