Aero is a display function - you turn it on in display settings. It's
either always on or alwats off...

Hi dave,
It depends on which version of Windows 7 you have, and also if you are using
an Aero theme. There are keyboard shortcuts available if your version and
theme are Aero enabled, but you have not supplied enough information. Also,
punctuation goes a long way toward creating an understandable post.

A quick search, dug up this.

http://www.windows7news.com/2009/09/...aero-features/

I can also find pages which mention registry hacks, but there is no
reason at this point to do it that way.

*******

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Aero

"Aero is not available by default in Windows Vista Home Basic,
Windows 7 Starter and Windows 7 Home Basic, although a workaround
has been discovered allowing Vista Basic users to have transparency
and blur effects, provided that their system meets the recommended
hardware requirements."

Since your version is higher than that, it should be available to you.

HTH,
Paul
