Advanced website optimisation

When I moved this site to a new server, I also implemented lots of new speed tweaks (such as better gzip compression, image expiry dates, etc...). During this process, I came across a great tool which may be of use to other webmasters:

You give it a URL you want to test and it will show you how fast the page loads, along with lots of information on how to improve loading times. You can even see how many seconds it takes before a page is rendered on a browser of set specs, or watch a video of page loading on different connection speeds.

I've seen "speed up your website" tools before, most of which are useless. This one really is a great help at advanced site optimisation

That's a neat tool, but I find it more useful to play my websites.
