Hello;

I have read many articles by Microsoft using their MSDN Knowledge base, have searched many forums and then remembered my account here. Has anyone resolved the error (800a01ad) while scripting with Windows Script Host on Windows 7 using the file extension "vbs" which states "ActiveX component can't create object: File.SystemObject"?
- Some Notes:
1. I've looked at the registry of HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\File and there is only one sub-entry being: CLSID and it has only its default entry
2. Have used CMD --> wscript -regserver
3. Have assured, as best I can the security settings of the folder by which this script file reside; they are set to Full-Control for me (the account attempting to run this script.

Anything ?

Very Gratefully;
Glenn

PS: Microsoft affirms that this error exists yet has to date no resolution "and we'll have fun, fun, fun 'till our daddy takes our T-Bird away" lol
