A little contest at evga if anyone is interested
evga forum about it http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=1252785
(below is quoted from Troy)
Registration Open
  • Contest Registration is now open (slightly ahead of schedule)!
BigAdv Rigs
  • BigAdv rigs are posted on the website for you to ogle.
    • Both rigs have different eligibility requirements to qualify for, please consult contest site for more information
      • The first rig follows the same eligibility requirements as other gifts
      • The second rig requires:
        • 200 people participating in the contest
        • Winner must have folded 9 months or 2 million points with Folding @ EVGA (111065)
      • Lets spread the word so that we can give away 2 bigadv rigs!
10/5/11

Contest Gifts
  1. We are currently accepting donations for gifts to be given away at the end of the Time Zone Challenge. The members of Team EVGA have a strong reputation for extreme generosity when it comes to contests (and folding in general). Lets keep the tradition alive by alive, so dust off that old hardware you are no longer using and pass it along to someone that can start using it to generate folding points and get us one step closer to a cure.
    • Computer parts, unused game codes, electronics, whatever you think is appropriate is welcome!
    • To donate a gift to be given away at the end of the contest simply fill out this form.
    • Gifts can be donated up until the last day of the contest. Sooner is better, however, as it may entice more people to get involved.
    • If you have any questions, please let me know.
  2. Thanks to the generosity of several our members, I am happy to announce that we will be giving away 2 full -bigadv ready computers at the end of the contest (more details here). Look for more details on the contest site in the near future, but in the mean time please take the time to thank those that helped to make this possible:

I got one last night on the new 2500k. 27 min tpf for 20k or 10k ppd. God awful wu, unless it finds a cure that is. Rant over.

Btw good luck in the tzc. NOT!

Since there was no stipulation on an end to registrations, I figured I would keep everybody guessing as long as possible. May sign up today or tomorrow.

How does 375000 PPD sound? No good? Maybe 400000 then.
